Adobe studio Icons. For real???

It has been a buzz for some time now surrounding the new icons for Adobe CS3. From inside Adobe, John Nack have published first glans at his own blog. I for my own part was not sure if it was a joke or for real. If this is suppose to be a easy way to tel the programs apart I'm really scared about how the GUI will look like (even though I'm super happy with the new AE7 GUI)!

I'm now quite there yet where I am able to say Adobe on Macromedia products. We kind of felt proud and strong in the design world that Macromedia would ensure pressure on Adobe and other to continue the struggle on creating the best tools. Now that they have taken the US way of world domination I feel less sure about fair development.

Don`t get me wrong I have always loved both companies equal but as healthy competitors. So when I first heard about the merge I was not sure if that was a joke. Since that turned out to be true, might this also be the real icons?
