FWA wallpaper

- I have made a wallpaper for The favourite website awards. The futuristic look was innspired from Sndk.no goal to push the envelope on websolutions. The idea are based on that the FWA logo have just enterd through a timemachine and have just enterd a new "graphic dimension".
You can also download the latest wallpaper for sndk here.

See and download FWA wallper here (want it as a PSP wp?)

The Attik

One of my favourite all time companies driven by good friend James The Attik have updated their website. Containing great work and a superb inspirational source. Get a hold of the Noise book (s) if you don’t already own a copy.

Logan have made some updates

Logan has updated with a huge amount of new stuff, the highlights of which , are the first two featured jobs for Apple ‘1000 songs’ and Citroen ‘l’echappe’. 1000 songs rubs me the right way, its a clever visual solution for a specific message, as opposed to the more broad awareness spots for earlier apple products (actually, there is another new ipod spot in this update as well). Another princes is born

I become an uncle (again) and as the ”princes magic” that is cast over this family, once again give us a beautiful girl. Pernille saw first light in Bodø on Thursday the 23. Proud parents Daniel and Helene will soon go home to Fauske as prod parents for the first time.

iPod Hi-Fi

Goodbye, big stereo. Hello, iPod Hi-Fi, a beautiful, compact sound system with an integrated Universal Dock for iPod that fills the room with rich, audiophile-quality sound. It's the home stereo -- reinvented.

Mini HDV cam

Like evolution, sometimes even already great tings take a step forward. As HDV was introduced we saw a new leap in technology and asked the question: consumer or pro?
Well it started out pro as it always does, and then our pal Sony came up with something that might be a consumer version. But now they have taken the step and made it smaller, 26% smaller to be precise.

Its already on sale in Japan and to hit the streets of the US and Europe in April.
The American price is set to 1.700 USD.

Svens site

Good friend Sven Burman have a site worth minutes of great web surfing. He have now settled down in his home town Skellfteå working full time for Blacke design. A great designer that always try to streach further.

Renascent: Jonathan Product and KPN

"Jonathan Product" is a beautifully organic piece that effectively combines fluid dynamics and hair-like strands—pretty appropriate for a company that sells hair products, no? And "KPN" pumps a little life into what is a decidedly dorky logo. (from tween)

Some random musings:

Sometimes the mind have its own way of drifting along. These are some of the questions that have come up.

1) How can Google start providing a mapping service for Mars when they don't even have names on their maps for Bermuda yet?

2) How do those detectives from Law and Order always manage to arrest the baddie when he is chairing a board meeting or speaking at a conference i.e. when there are hundreds of people around? Do you think they call up his PA in advance and ask "We need to arrest your boss. Can you tell us when he's most busy please? Oh, and keep this under your hat..."?

3) The Royal Gazette has an article which has a piece at the bottom about Bus Arson in Bermuda costing and additional $875,000 in overtime. Now if there were as many as 100 bus drivers in Bermuda, that would amount to $8,750 per driver in additional wages. That's a nice bonus. When did bus drivers command higher incomes than most of the rest of society?

FWA is the number one leading design guide on the web. A highly respected award and site that has been around for a long time. SNDK was asked as the first and only Norwegian company to create wallpaper promoting the site.

We are as always up to the task and created a futuristic themed wallpaper. You can download it by visiting FWA at: http://www.thefwa.com/?app=wallpapers&id=70

Back home

Then we where back home. Snow and ice was covering the landscape and it was a bit of a transformation from sunny Spain. Me my self is as "white" as I was when I left having worked all days. The kids have had a great time and the warm weather is always good for the spirit.

The weekend is here!

Another week day has gone by and the weekend is here. Tomorrow its a day for a bit of fun. Jetski is high on the list and plans to rent a car and drive around the island is also in the making. We want to go to the top of the mountains and look at the great old volcano's that created this chain of islands on the coast of Africa. There is also supposee to be a big telescope run by Norwegians on one of the mountain tops. Might we get a night time sneak-peak inside? Time will tel. We and the kids are having a great time. Work is on schedule and life feels good. I hope everyone get a great weekend.
